We've got the talent to dip our toes into a number of pools in this here world of game development. In fact, we've gone and swam around quite a bit! Here's a sample of what we've worked on, organized for your viewing pleasure.
Check out our company Pitch Deck.
Our absolute biggest game to date, A Purrtato Tail is being developed by our sister company Drunk Robot Games. It combines character collecting with puzzle gameplay in a Metroidvania environment and makes it all about vegetable cats - namely, potato cats! This highly anticipated game comes out in early 2019 for basically everything.
The DJ who will only sleep when he's dead needed a new way to bust up some cakes, and what better way than some solid match-3 gameplay? Steve Aoki and Deckstar hired us to produce an original iPhone and iPad game from scratch featuring an all new branding style for Steve, which we were also responsible for helping come up with. We worked closely with Steve to design a fun game that he and his fans would enjoy playing and coming back to.
When the evil forces of Master Xandred came knocking on the doors of Curious Brain, they came to us to help develop an all new Power Rangers title from the ground up for iPhone! We worked closely with Curious Brain as they supplied the art, design, and music while we produced the game itself.
When Interabang Entertainment needed some help bringing their combo-heavy platformer to Xbox One and PlayStation 4, they gave us a call to help bust the moves needed to bring this excellent game to consoles.
KaiClavier has an amazing asset for Unity, but found it needed a solid boost in performance. RedVonix was already using this asset in a number of projects and offered to help make the changes needed to push the performance of Super Text Mesh into overdrive.
Sometimes you just gotta kick your feet up, pull out your phone, and trip some serious balls, man. Ya know? Super Deluxe certainly thought so - which is why they hired us to produce an all new game for iPhone and Android phones where you pop balls to some trippy visuals.
We had some downtime one year before the holidays and said, "Hey, has anyone made a video game about Santa crapping down the chimney's of exceptionally naughty children? Great! Let's be the first!". And so we did, and it was glorious. Thrown together as a quick project in a few weeks, we shipped this retro arcade-style comedy title original for Ouya and Android, then did a re-release in 2016 on Steam - which the YouTube streamers have loved sharing for their holiday videos since.
One of our very first products and a title we have always wanted to return to as it has been a fan favorite for years, Tumblecaps Retro was an original game where the player matched three or more pixelated bottlecaps that tumbled down in ever increasing speed and numbers. We even filmed a commercial with an old-school beat to help promote it (which you can still find on YouTube!) While the mechanic has been since copied by many other games, we're pretty confident we were the first.
Our first big client project! Back in 2009 as we were just getting started, the now famous band Shinobi Ninja was busy making a name for themselves and wanted to get a video game produced to help spread the word. We partnered up with Interabang Entertainment and brought the band members of that time to the small screen in this action-packed iPhone beat 'em up!
RocketCat Games wanted to try something new - a casual dungeon crawler with card based combat. Cerulean Games was recommended to them, and we were happy to work with them to produce this unique mobile RPG! After jumping on board we developed the full game front to back, while working closely with RocketCat Games who supplied the full game design, art, and audio.
Build your own trading firm on Wall Street in this mobile sim game we built for iConcepts! They supplied us with the game design, art, and sound, and we built the game client.
Out on a Limb, a unique mobile title designed by FifthSeeker Games, finds the player growing branches of a sakura tree to fill as many spaces of a hex grid as possible before no moves remain.
Based on the hit kids TV series, Wilbur's Fun on the Farm contained 4 fun activities for kids to enjoy with their favorite characters from the show! Mongadillo Studios hired us to help them develop this title for the show's producers, and they supplied all artwork, music, sound effects, and game design.
Cypher Kids Club had been producing Augmented Reality cards, sold in stores such as Target, and needed a company to develop a couple of their iPhone applications. Cerulean Games stepped in and produced the iPhone application for their Letters and Numbers cards while they supplied all audio, art, and game design.
